The vision is the most important sense of the human being. In the film, the main character uses his eyes to write a story or multiple stories. In the music the singer "shuts" his eyes for something that he`s done or happened to him, but he was able to correct his mistakes and pay more attention to the world that surrounds him.

The picture has an ancient pyramid with an eye that overlooks its surrounds. The only thing that the movie, the song and the picture have in common is the sense - vision.

Right before your eyes. Sometimes the little things that could change your life are right in front of you and don't understand that. Sometimes it's difficult to see the things that you don't want to see, but it's better knowing the truth than staying in ignorance. You must trust your feelings and follow your heart. So in the end you can live based in truth, and not in mistakes.

Right Before your Eyes

The eyes are a window to the soul! Through them we can see not only a person's feelings, but also their mind! Through them we can see beautiful things that show us the bright side of life, but we can also see things that, most of the time, we don't want to see.

We can see a lot of pain and suffering in the eyes of children, victims of war, poverty and hunger. Sometimes we close our eyes to these problems, but when we open them, they're still there. In our own life we have problems that we rather ignore, but although we don't want to go back, and we tell ourselves not to go, we always end up going back...and we see what we don't want to see.

With our eyes we see the world. We pay too much attention to what our eyes show us, but that is a mistake. We have to learn to live without our eyes because they can influence our heart. We think the eyes aren't a good help for us because after them, we can conclude many times that they trick us.

Task 2 - Listening comprehension / Selection of correct option - Lyrics of the song 'Right before your eyes' by Hoobastank. (Individual)

Task 3 - Form groups of 3 members and choose one picture. Write a small text relating the video excerpt, the song by Hoobastank and the picture chosen. (Group work) - Followed by online publishing.
