Hello, my name is Almeida, I’m 19 years old and I’ve come to the Navy because it is a career that I wanted to follow. My specialty is TFH and I’m expecting a lot from this course. I like the English language very much and I am expecting to learn a lot from the English course.
Hello, my name is Samuel Coelho. I’m 22 years old.
The course that I’m attending is diver in the Navy and I came to this course because I like swimming and working in the sea. We learn a lot of positive things like search and rescue in the sea and work in the water with lot of tools.
I also like sports, so this course is good because we have many sport activities in the water.
I live in a small village called Povoa, near Alcobaca. I like going to the nature in a bike or a motorcycle to enjoy it. I’m a Benfica supporter.

My name is Tiago Goncalves. I’m 21 years old. I live in Lisbon and I’ve chosen to come to the Portuguese Navy because I want to be a professional diver. In my free-time I go to the cinema and play on the computer. My club is Sport Lisboa Benfica.
I’m 19 years old and my name is Luciano Guerra. I live in Vila Franca de Xira and I was born in Lisbon. I’m studying to be a Steward (TFD). My hobbies are going out, hanging with my friends and I love (my) Sporting and to attend every game everywhere. The main reason why I joined the Navy and this course was because of the lack of opportunities outside the Navy.

I joined the Navy because I always liked the military life and I love the sea.

In my free time, I like going to the movies, hanging out with my friends and listening to music.
I came to the Navy because I wanted to continue with my studies, a task I hope to fulfill after finishing the steward course which I’m attending.

I joined the Portuguese Navy because I wanted to follow a military career.
My specialty is Steward and I think that this English course is going to be fun.
My football team is FCP and my hobbies are surfing in the Internet and hanging with my friends.
My name is Andre Pires. I am 18 years old and I live in Barreiro. I came to the Navy because I like the sea and due to the influence of other people. My specialty is steward. I’ve chosen this specialty because my mother does the same thing but in another company. My favorite club is Benfica. In my free time I usually play computer, watch TV, read some books, listen to music or go for a little walk.
My name is Parada and I‘m 19 years old. I come from Almada. I’m single and I’ve got no children. I always wanted to join the Navy, but not this course. I wanted to be part of the Marine Corps, but unfortunately I could not follow that career. I’m a Sport Lisbon and Benfica and also Sportive Club Cova da Piedade supporter.
My name is Bruno Alexandre Lourenco Vieira. I am 21 (twenty one years old). I was born in Lisbon (Sao Sebastiao da Pedreira) on 29th January 1985. I live in Miratejo. I’m single. My Hobbies are playing football, watching TV, going to the net and listening to music. My football club is the glorious Benfica and my music styles are House, R & B, Reggae.
Now, talking about the Navy, I joined it because I like the military life. I think in the Navy we can have a good life and big opportunities of having a career. My Specialty is cook and if I don’t succeed in the Navy, I can have a lot of opportunities outside to find a job, because I have a course of cook (TFH) in the Navy.
Hi! My name is Ferreira. It’s my last name but here in the Navy we call each other that way.
I left my civil life almost four months ago. Until now, I like the course. My specialty is t.f.d, I’m happy with my choice because I like to serve. I’ve already, in the civil life, worked in this area. That’s why I feel more comfortable doing this.
I like playing football and going out at night to bars to drink a beer with friends, and to discos.
I’m a frontal and social person. My football club is obviously the best, the great Sporting.

My name is Paulo Castro. I’m 20 years old and I come from Montargil. My favourite hobbies are playing soccer, horsemanship, listening to music and watching TV.
I’m a good person, a good friend of my friends, but a little nervous, and my favourite soccer team is Benfica.
